We have been so busy I haven’t posted to the blog in awhile but have lots of ideas. Just need the time. Right now I am busy with the garden and in trying to get rid of old cans of paint. They said I’d have to wait until December to turn them in to the dump, or dry them out. Anyway, I am now painting old pieces of wood with the paint and becoming an artist.
I am also taking pottery, and we have joined an Outrigger canoe club. Today we are being visited by our financial advisor from Bellevue, WA who is here for a wedding and looked us up, so we had to clean house. Good excuse. So if you come visit us, we will have another excuse to clean! I made breadfruit chips and guacamole from our avos. We are getting overloaded with avos, and just discovered we have a breadfruit tree because it is covered over with vines and weeds.
After our trip to the mainland, 5 cities, 8 plane rides and 15 days of waiting to get back to Hawaii, we had to get ready for the owners, Suzanne Saxon and Steve Braund to come visit. It coincided with the Ironman race which we got to see (a future blog post) and other visitors and bridge, garden, organizing tools, getting bids, and even a broken toe thrown in there.
